How to read this
"Releases (30d)" counts entries in each tool's official release feed or changelog page over the last 30 days. Some feeds only expose their most recent entries (GitHub release feeds show about 10), so very active tools can hit that ceiling and the true count may be higher. Fast-moving CLIs like Claude Code and Codex often ship several builds a week, while editors tend to ship larger, less frequent updates. Patchwire never rewrites release notes. Each row links to a page that lists every release with a link to the source.
